3. Select this option.
4. The date will show as Friday 20 March 10:00, but rest assured the meals are for both Friday and Saturday.
5. Click “Book Now”
6. If you would like one meal on Friday and Saturday, enter “Full Price: 1” on the next screen.
7. You will be returned to your basket. If you have added one Pass and two meals to your basket successfully, you should see the below:

For the first time, this year Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival (BFMAF) will offer a relaxed second screen as an alternative environment for audiences to experience the Festival. The screenings are designed to be more welcoming and accessible to people with additional needs, in particular neurodivergent people. Screenings will happen at the same time as at the Maltings’ Cinema at the Barracks.

Free passes are available for support staff and personal assistants, please email info@bfmaf.org to request a free pass.

We are currently finalising the specifications for the Relaxed Screen. We will release Relaxed Passes once we are able to provide a comprehensive overview of the relaxed environment.

A Day Pass is perfect for Berwickers or anyone planning a one-day visit — whether you’re popping in from nearby or making the trip from the North East, Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Dundee. Berwick is well connected by train, and everything is walkable once you’re here!

What should I do if I can’t afford a Pass?

We offer a limited number of free Festival Passes and Day Passes for anyone facing financial hardship. If you’d like to attend the Festival but can’t afford a Pass, please email us at info@bfmaf.org.

I’ve attended before — do I need to create a new account?

No — if you created an account for a previous Festival (or with The Maltings), you can use the same login details.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?

You can request a refund up to one week before the Festival begins. Please forward your booking confirmation to info@bfmaf.org.

I’ve booked a screening but can’t attend — what should I do?

Please forward your e-ticket and booking confirmation to info@bfmaf.org so we can reallocate your seat to someone else.

I’m a writer or journalist — should I get a Festival Pass?

We offer a limited number of free Press Passes.
If you’re writing about the Festival, reviewing films, or planning to interview a filmmaker, please email press@bfmaf.org to request a Press Pass.

Can I buy Tickets for an Individual Screening?

Unfortunately, we won’t be selling individual tickets to screenings this year because of the reduced capacity. However, if you have volunteered with us before, belong to a partner organisation or group, or are part of a local organisation, we have a few tickets on hold that we can offer you. Please get in touch at info@bfmaf.org to request more information.

Can I get a Festival Pass with only one meal?

No, you can only get a Festival Pass Plus Meals with both Friday and Saturday meals included.
